A Conference for Research and Innovation on FinTech, InsurTech and Blockchain

The International FinTech, InsurTech and Blockchain Forum is an international and interdisciplinary conference on the global phenomenon of the digitization of financial services. It is organized by the Swiss FinTech Innovation Lab and the University Research Priority Program (URPP) Financial Market Regulation from the University of Zurich and takes place on Nov. 5th, 2019 in cooperation with the Swiss International Finance Forum (www.nzz-siff.com), a practitioners conference on the future of financial services.

The International FinTech, InsurTech and Blockchain Forum focuses on research that addresses challenges in the field of banking and finance, business management, IT, law, regulation, society and many others. Together we will explore the impact of financial technology, insurance technology and blockchain on the ways in which organizations, people and computers work together in the future. By considering myriad disciplines and research fields, the conference participants share concepts how the connection of the aforementioned three areas can lead to innovative solutions that address today’s challenges.

The conference brings together academia, business, non-profit, and government. The inaugural event in 2018 was the starting point for an annual conference series.

The forum will take place at „Kraftwerk“, a unique space fueling Swiss innovation and collaboration. Kraftwerk is a for­mer power station located in the heart of Zurich.
