ie FinTech Konferenz Liechtenstein 2016 richtet sich an Marktteilnehmer des Finanzplatzes sowie Entscheider und Interessierte aus der DACH-Region, mit dem Ziel, den regelmäßigen Austausch zu den Themen Innovation und Digitalisierung in der Finanzindustrie zu fördern.

Die Konferenz 2016 steht unter dem übergeordneten Themenkomplex

„Competition, Cooperation, Coopetition“

und zielt darauf ab, die Finanzdienstleister in Liechtenstein weiter zu sensibilisieren und Möglichkeiten der Zusammenarbeit mit FinTechs darzustellen.

Die Konferenz findet in Kooperation mit der Finanzmarktaufsicht und der Regierung des Fürsenstums Liechtenstein im SAL in Schaan statt, wobei die Regierung des Landes ebenfalls die Schirmherrschaft der Konferenz übernommen hat.

Am Nachmittag des ersten Konferenztages stehen regulatorische Aspekte neuer Finanztechnologien im Zentrum. Die FMA zeigt die regulatorischen Entwicklungen auf Ebene der Europäischen Union auf, stellt Fallbeispiele aus dem Regulierungslabor der FMA vor, beleuchtet regulatorische Fragestellungen zu Kooperationen und Outsourcing im FinTech-Eco-System und geht auf die Regulierung der Blockchain-Technologie ein.

Die übergeordnete Fragestellung am zweiten Konferenztag ist, in welcher Form Startups mit den bisherigen Markteilnehmern interagieren, kooperieren und wie etablierte Unternehmen die Digitalisierung als Chance wahrnehmen können. Des Weiteren befasst sich die Konferenz mit aktuellen Themen aus der Praxis wie beispielsweise die Veränderungen in der Vermögensanlage durch Robo Advisory oder auch die Auswirkungen von neuen Technologien wie der Blockchain auf bestehende Finanzprozesse.

The FinTech Conference Liechtenstein is addressed to market participants from the financial centre as well as to decision-makers and interested parties from the DACH-region (German, Austria and Switzerland) and aims to promote the regular knowledge and opinion exchange on the topics of innovation and digitization in the financial industry.

The Conference edition of 2016 is entitled „Competition, Cooperation, Coopetition“ and has as the main objective to continue to raise awareness of financial services providers in Liechtenstein about opportunities for cooperation with FinTechs. The conference will be held in cooperation with the Financial Market Authority (FMA) and the Government of Liechtenstein.

Themes:

The first conference day will be focused on regulatory aspects of new financial technologies. The FMA will illustrate the regulatory developments at the European Union level and present case studies from the FMA laboratory of regulation, highlighting regulatory issues for cooperation and outsourcing in FinTech Eco-system and regulation of Blockchain technology. FMA is a public company therefore the attendance of the first conference day requires a reservation of a separate free of charge ticket.

The central topics of the second conference day will be the forms of interaction and cooperation between start-ups and already existing market players and digitalisation as an opportunity for established companies. Other topics on the Conference agenda are changes in the investment through Robo Advisory and the impact of new technologies such as Blockchain on existing financial processes.
