Die Anzahl der Donations, also die Anzahl der Geldeingänge, entscheiden über den Gewinner. Gleichezeitig werden die gesponserten Münzen als Preisgeld verliehen. Bitfilm ist das erste Filmfestival, welches sich ausschliesslich dem Thema Bitcoin widmet.
Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass mit Bitcoins abgestimmt wird. Mit Bitcoins könnte man sogar recht fälschungssicher Wahlen durchführen. In diese Richtung gehen Ansätze von Coloured Coins und Ehtereum.. aber bleiben wir beim Thema, hier die Bitfilme:
